The science of light emitting diodes or LEDs, has made great strides in recent years. In fact, advances in LED technology and manufacturing have improved the quality of light and lowered the costs to the point where LEDs offer superior illumination at a lower cost for the commercial, industrial and institutional markets than traditional lighting technologies.
